Motorola's after sale service pathetic

Motorola provides one of the worst after sale service, very unlike Samsung, HTC or Sony. My Motorola Moto G Gen 2 device stopped working within 35 days of purchase and till date there is no follow up from Motorola.

I purchased a Moto G 2nd Gen device on 6th September 2014 (the day of its launch). And within 35 days, i.e. is 11th October the device stopped working. I called Flipkart and they told me that they cannot replace my device because 30 day replacement period is over.

So I went to Motorola Mobility Foundation's authorized service centre, and I was informed that they need to look into the device, so I left the device at this particular centre after receiving an assurance of getting a call within a week. But I didn't receive any call even after a week. Ultimately I had to call up and this time I was informed that the motherboard needs to be replaced but Motorola does not have any motherboard in its inventory, and suggested me to wait for at least 2 weeks. (Imagine a company of the stature of Motorola India manufactures products, but does not have spare parts in its inventory). Again I was told that I'll get a call within two weeks.
I tried to contact the regional head of Motorola, Jagadesh; but he is a busy man (I wonder what he is busy with if he is not listening to customers). He does not answer calls, neither he replies to any email. By the way, this person's contact details were given to me by Motorola Solutions.

Next I called the service centre after completion of two weeks (as usual I didn't receive any call), and I was informed that it'll take one more week at the minimum. Then I called Motorola support again, and they told me that they'll escalate the issue. No word from them after this conversation.

I have completely lost faith in Motorola. I don't understand why a consumer should be forced to use an obsolete phone because of poor Quality Check standards of Motorola ? Why do they provide one-year warranty if they do not have spare parts available with you ? Why shouldn't my device be replaced if they fail to repair it, given the fact that I barely used it ? And why shouldn't I take any sort of legal action against Motorola for not providing me the kind of service I was promised at the time of purchase. I am never going to buy any Motorola product, neither I am going to advice anybody to go for a product manufactured by Motorola.

Also this is not a isolated incident. One my acquaintance ordered the same device. But luckily she faced issues within a month and flipkart replaced that device. If I had known about such poor quality issues, I would have never purchased a Motorola device
